Facade Program (Incentive Programs)

The City of New Haven has undertaken a comprehensive development program in order to take an active role in the elimination of blight in its neighborhoods. The Façade Improvement Grant Program is geared to achieving this goal.

This Program offers a reimbursement grant equal to 50% of the cost of approved facade improvements to commercial and mixed use properties, with a maximum grant of $30,000.00. In addidion, an additional reimbursement grant of up to $1,500.00 may be available to support facade-related architectural/design costs.
